Terms & Conditions

Effective date: September 16, 2025 • Last updated: September 16, 2025

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the decentralized betting application interface operated by Booleans(the “Interface”). By accessing or using the Interface, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Interface. Nothing in these Terms constitutes legal, financial, or investment advice.

1) Decentralized Protocol; BASE Mainnet

The Interface allows users to interact with autonomous smart contracts deployed on the Base mainnet (“Contracts”). The Contracts are open, non-custodial, and decentralized. Booleans does not have possession, custody, or control of user funds and cannot reverse, cancel, or modify on-chain transactions. Interactions are executed by you via your self-custodial wallet and require payment of network “gas” fees to third-party validators.

2) Oracle-Sourced Market Data

The Contracts read market and event outcomes from third-party data oracles (the “Oracles”). The Interface does not create, curate, or guarantee the accuracy of Oracle data. Oracles may experience downtime, latency, manipulation risks, upgrades, deprecations, or permanent shutdowns. We do not warrant that any Oracle will remain functional indefinitely, nor that data will be delivered without delay or error.

3) Interface Only; No Warranties

The Interface is a frontend that helps you read from and submit transactions to the Contracts. It is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement). We do not guarantee that the Interface or Contracts will be secure, available, error-free, virus-free, accurate, or meet your requirements.

4) Self-Custody; Finality & Irreversibility

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet keys and for all transactions initiated from your wallet. Transactions on Base are irreversible. We cannot assist with recovery of private keys, seed phrases, or funds.

5) Eligibility & Compliance

6) Prohibited Conduct

7) Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge the substantial risks of using experimental cryptographic software, including smart contract vulnerabilities, Oracle failures, UI bugs, chain reorgs, MEV and frontrunning, phishing, key compromise, regulatory changes, tax obligations, and market volatility. You assume full responsibility for all losses and liabilities.

8) Fees

Network fees (gas) are paid to third parties on Base and are outside of our control. We may charge an Interface fee or the Contracts may charge protocol fees, which may be deducted automatically on-chain. Any such fees are disclosed in the Interface or in the Contracts’ code.

9) No Advice

Information presented via the Interface (including odds, markets, results, or analytics) is for informational purposes only and does not constitute betting, financial, investment, legal, tax, or any other advice.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Booleans, its contributors, developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of the Interface or Contracts, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount of fees (if any) you paid to us for use of the Interface during the six (6) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

11) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Booleans and its contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way related to your use of the Interface or Contracts, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12) Open-Source Code; No Guarantee of Support

The Interface and/or Contracts may be open-source. Publication of source code does not imply any obligation to provide support, maintenance, updates, or continued availability. We may modify, restrict, or discontinue the Interface at any time without notice.

13) Intellectual Property

The Interface (excluding open-source components) and its content are owned by or licensed toBooleans and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Interface solely to interact with the Contracts.

14) Privacy

We do not custody user funds. Interactions with the Contracts are public and permanently recorded on-chain. The Interface may collect limited technical or analytics data (e.g., device, browser, pages viewed) to operate and improve the Interface. See our Privacy Policy for details (link below).

15) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Interface after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
